Note: The church is now fully open and we will no longer be taping regular services. Please join us in person if possible.
  • "Gospel Lenses," 2 Corinthians 5:16, by guest speaker Bill Fry. How do we best honor Christ Jesus in these turbulent times? The moment we are in does not pause the mission we're on. What is your mission? What do you think it is? We are all one in Christ Jesus. We should no longer regard people in the flesh. We should try to see people as God sees them in the light of the Gospel message. We're called to share the Gospel message. Do you have your Father's eyes or a more worldly view? A changed relationship with God leads to a changed relationship with the world. Following Christ Jesus is about looking at everything and everyone differently. The apostle Paul's life is an example of how much a person changes after an encounter with Christ Jesus the risen Savior.  https://youtu.be/Tlbh-JsUvqk

  • "Not Abandoned" by Rev. Leah Morales. Today we celebrate Pentecost Sunday the day the Holy Spirit came down. Jesus never abandoned the disciples or us. He planned to send down the Holy Spirit who could be everywhere and in everyone at one time. The Holy Spirit came so you can do what Jesus did!
Jesus didn't abandon you to get by on your own. Sometimes you don't feel accepted by people and you can transfer that to how you feel about God. Remember that you don't have to earn the love of God. We sometimes feel like we have to "do" enough to earn God's love. You are God's child. Instead of just loving the Father, live in the love of the Father.  How do you make that shift? First, realize that you need to make that step. Each morning and throughout the day, lift your hands and say, "Father I receive your love."
You are God's precious, precious child. God loves you so much more than you can imagine loving anyone!

  • "Looking for What We Have Lost," by Rev. Mark Young who is filling in for Rev. Keefe Cropper. Happiness comes when you give what God leads you to give. Jesus gives you back more than you can give. It's not what we've lost, but what we've gained by being an active participant in God's kingdom. In God's kingdom you'll have so much more than you can imagine. What you lose--the pride, anger, and envy. https://youtu.be/Y4-Fs-DKwbQ

  • Today, Rev. David Hicks sermon was titled: Taking Jesus Home With Us with Bible reference to Mark 1:29-31.
We all need to invite Jesus home with us. Jesus Christ is the universal example of how to be a Christian. He loved to be around people. Christ will come into our home even if there is a shadow in it. Every house has shadows of sin, despair, or illness. Christ comes into our home to dispel the shadows. Christ helps us. His presence illuminates the shadows and makes life bearable. There are no shadows where His light comes into a life. Jesus Christ comes to heal us. Invite Him into your home. https://youtu.be/f0lRR_YwR-8

  • Today, we enjoyed special music from Chuck and Donna Holt.
  • Rev. David Hicks (standing in for Rev. Keefe Cropper) spoke about "Abiding in Jesus," John 15:1-8. What is abiding in Jesus? It is not validated by experiences or rituals. Many activities are worthwhile and good when practiced with the proper attitude. It's not just doing and participating in church events. Bearing fruit involves ethical or moral action of some type. Fruit is shown by our love, keeping Jesus's commandments, and our acceptance of one another as friends and family. We must share the love of Jesus with the world not only by what we say, but what we do--helping others, praying for others, feeding others, teaching others, giving money to help others, bringing peace to others, and healing others. This is what a real disciple does and does consistently. May we do that every day of our lives.

  • Sunday School by Lenore Gasperin, Habakkuk 3, Remember that you can trust God. He promises never to leave you or forsake you. We all have trials and tribulation, but God is with you through it all: https://youtu.be/_oTfwVUITBA
  • Church Service by Guest Rev. Leah Morales, "Why are We Still Just Standing Around?" Acts 1:1-11
Why don't we know the power that resides within us? The Kingdom of God is in your midst. Stop standing around in survival mode. We are the salt of the earth! We are the light of the world! But we're not walking in the power of God. The apostles had power because they walked in complete faith. If you want to see the glory you have to be willing to humble yourself. God is going to bring about a revival. Are you prepared for revival? All you have to do is really want revival. https://youtu.be/g_AOZe3UDiU

  • Sunday School by Lenore Gasperin, Habakkuk 2, Brave and Bold Prophet https://youtu.be/k-wEodZEVOI
  • Church Service by Rev. David Hicks, "Love Needed." 1 John 4:8 One of the most basic needs to all of us is to be loved. God loves us. Jesus saw each person as valuable and full of potential. Can this type of love be seen in us? Christ's love is inclusive and it is active. Christ's love is exclusive and eternal. He was not gullible or naive. We are to live out a pattern of Christ's love. Can those in the world see God's love in us?

Rev. David Hicks' sermon is "Believing Without Seeing." John 20:19-31
We all have moments of doubt. Sometimes it is difficult to see God when the clouds of life block the heavens. Sometimes it is difficult to see God in a world that doesn't seem concerned about the issues that matter to us.
Jesus told Thomas, "Do not doubt, but believe." Faith is the refusal to turn your face from God no matter what comes your way! God has given us the gift of faith.

  • Church Service, https://youtu.be/Bcxnzoa_QqY Rev. Keefe Cropper, Faith and the Superintending Providence of God, Romans 8:28. God causes all things (good or bad) to work together for good for those who love him. You may wonder how a certain situation can be the providence of God. Providence is the protective care of God. You can't put it together. You can't anticipate the providence of God. God connects things that don't seem connectable. Remember God is in control!
